Our Beliefs
Below is our belief statements which we are passionate about as a church!
Word of God
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-21).
Trinity
We believe there is one God. Eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14).
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
Eternity
We believe in the blessed hope – the rapture of the church at Christ’s coming (1 Thessalonians 4:17), in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Daniel 12:2, John 11:25-25, Revelation 21:7-8).
Salvation
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (Ephesians 1:7).
Holy Spirit
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (John 1:31,3:3, 1 Peter 1:23). We believe that the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Galatians 5:16).
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 which is given to believers who ask (Luke 11:13).
Gifts of the Spirit
We believe in the present-day reality of the supernatural operation of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8-10, Hebrews 2:3-4).
Witnessing
We believe in the responsibility of all believers to witness to the lost (Acts 1:8).
Healing through Jesus
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 5:17).
Baptism and Communion
We believe in the observance of the ordinances of Christian baptism by immersion for believers and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28:19, Acts2:38, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
Marriage
We believe in the Institution of Marriage – that marriage is God-ordained to be an exclusive relationship, a lifelong faithful union between a man and a woman. This relationship between a husband and wife should parallel the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:31-33).
